Why I came to Integral Development Coaching
Why I came to Integral Development Coaching
For over 20 years I have been passionate about human development, and practicing mentoring, coaching, team development and group work. I have extensive experience both in the context of my professional career and through my work in voluntary organisations and educational charities focused on developmental work. Through the last two decades I have pursued a long-term interest in global philosophy and culture, Eastern and Western, ancient and modern, to more deeply support individual transformation and development.
For over 20 years I have been passionate about human development, and practicing mentoring, coaching, team development and group work. I have extensive experience both in the context of my professional career and through my work in voluntary organisations and educational charities focused on developmental work. During 25 years spent working in the technology industry, recruiting, building and scaling businesses, I have come to believe that the fundamental work of human development is inseparable from anything we intend to get up to in the world. What we work on in the world, is work on ourselves, and any work on ourselves becomes our work in the world. Whether it is entrepreneurship, business development, leadership, organisational design or excellence in operational execution, all of this is only truly fulfilled through individuals and teams of human beings being their best.

In my career I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many inspiring innovators and leaders at major companies across Europe and the US. After 10 years working with the NHS, the European Space Agency and Airbus space exploration, I joined Google in 2009 and have spent over a decade founding, incubating and scaling Google Cloud. I now operate as Managing Director for the specialist solutions go-to-market in EMEA covering computing, data systems, security, digital sovereignty, AI and machine learning.
